Experimental Approved Program
This experimental program is monitored by a Judge appointed by GCCFSA. The main objective is to improve the health of an existing breed that has a small gene pool.
Theres a small gene pool in Australia and its very expensive to import a cat to introduce more blood lines. Importing has limitations as its difficult to find a good breeder happy to export a cat.
My decision to use an experimental program is to improve the health and immunity of my Devons.
I will need to breed 4 generations before the cats can be registered as a Devon Rex and must have the Devon Rex traits. This program is monitored, every litter is registered and checked by a judge.
My generation 2 kittens are due in January 2025, some of these kittens will be available for adoption.

This is not a made up breed, the breed is part of a program that is dedicated to improving Devons instead of keep breeding cats that have serious health issues. My cats don't have heart problems or skin issues, and all breeding cats are DNA tested.
Each outcross kitten that is sold has registration papers, is raised on Royal Canin and is Desexed, Vaccinated, Wormed and Microchipped.
